Dear Valued Agents,

 

Thank you for your ongoing support and help at this unfortunate time with the Sinking of Whitsunday Magic on August 5.   We are doing our very best to raise and repair Whitsunday Magic so she can again grace the Whitsundays, however, this will take many months, possibly a year or more.

 

Regarding all of Whitsunday Magic’s forward bookings we will be offering these two options for bookings for travel after the 01^st September 2011.

 

Choice 1. Sail on the Solway Lass for 3Days/3Nights departing at 7:30pm each Saturday or Tuesday. This is subject to availability of the Solway Lass. While Solway Lass is not as high a standard as Whitsunday Magic (the Cabins on Solway Lass have Share Bathroom facilities) the tour is just as nice.  If your guests choose Solway Lass we would refund the price difference between the tours. Plus because the vessel departs a night later we book your guests a complimentary night at the Airlie Beach Hotel in a 4 star Hotel room. Choice 2. We could book you 3 nights at Waters Edge Resort and then book you 3 day trips, so you can still experience the Whitsundays. This would mean that you would stay in Airlie Beach for the 3 nights. Water's Edge Resort apartments are quietly nestled in the hillside amongst lush tropical gardens, 100 metres from the centre of Airlie Beach

 

If either choice does not suit the passengers they will be entitled to a refund.  Where our agents have pre-paid for the travel on Whitsunday Magic we will refund the payments made to us.  Where the balance payments have not been paid to us, we will NOT invoice for the balance.  In this instance the agent can make alternative arrangements for their customers.
