Double/Twin = Open double berth on 2d 2n or 3d 2n yacht.  Double/Twin Cabin on Solway Lass and the 2 nights pre or post touring accommodation. 

Fraser Island = Accommodation in 2 person tent with camping equipment.

Prices do not include land transfer costs between Airlie Beach and Hervey Bay. Note that Hervey Bay is 900 km's from Airlie Beach, so you need to allow a day in between destinations.

Whitsunday Sailing

Day
1 - 3


Sail the Whitsundays for 2 or 3 nights. Staying in open plan dorm style accommodation on 2 night tours, or cabin accommodation on the 3 night Solway Lass tour.  Snorkel, Swim, Bushwalk on islands, relax and take in the pristine beauty of the Islands.

1 Nights accommodation in Airlie Beach which can be taken before or after the sailing.
Day 4

 

Leave Airlie Beach and head to Hervey Bay arriving late afternoon. 

1 Nights accommodation in Hervey Bay which can be taken pre or post the Fraser tour.

  Fraser Island Tour - Beaches 4wd Vehicle
Day 5 On Day 1 of the Fraser Island Tour, you need to make your way to Beaches Office for a Vehicle Safety and Fraser Island briefing which can take up to an hour. 
  Car Ferry to Fraser Island

The Ferry leaves from River Heads, which is a 15 to 20 minute drive from Hervey Bay.

To catch the 8:30am barge check-in at 6:30am.  
For 10.15am barge, check-in 7:15am. 
For 11:00am barge, check-in 9:00am.

Tip: if you have not already done your food shopping for the Fraser Trip the night before, you need to leave enough time to do this.

Day 6 - 7
For the two nights you are on Fraser Island, Accommodation is in a Tent.  Two people per tent.  Campgrounds are located on the Island complete with Toilets and Hot Showers.  Alternatively, Tents may be setup high on the Beach, for a unique beach camping experience.   
 
  Fraser Island is the World's largest sand island, located 45 minutes by Ferry from the Mainland town of Hervey Bay.  On the Tour, you will travel around the island in the comfort of your 4wd. You can stop at points of interest and see the amazing Flora and Fauna found on Fraser Island.  Plus stop at places like Lake McKenzie where you can swim in the crystal clear waters. 
 
  On Day 3 of the Fraser Island tour, the last Ferry departs Fraser Island at 4:00pm. 
You can expect to arrive back in Hervey Bay around 5:30pm.
Please note that you should return the vehicle to Beaches with a full tank of fuel.

 
  These tours may be taken in reverse order.
