Whitsunday Magic Itinerary




Sailing from Airlie Beach

   This cruise of the Whitsundays is an example.  All tours will be planned by the Captain, based on the wind and tides for guests comfort.
 


Whitsunday Magic Reef Cruise departs from Airlie Beach at 4:00pm on Friday.
 


Friday - Depart Abel Point Marina and Sail to Northern End of Whitsundays for overnight stop. Overnight, Blue Pearl Bay, Langford Reef, or an anchorage on Hook Island.

Saturday - Subject to wind and sea condition, sail to Outer Reef for Snorkelling, Diving or Glass Bottom Boat Coral Viewing.  In the afternoon, sail back to the islands.  Overnight Luncheon Bay or a bay on Border Island.

Sunday - snorkel or dive in morning.  Mid morning sail to Whitehaven Beach or Betty's Beach for the afternoon.  Overnight, western side of Whitsunday Island, Cid Harbour or Bauer Bay South Molle Island.
Monday - a morning bush walk or relax on board.  Return to Abel Point Marina at Airlie Beach at 1:00pm.  Courtesy transfer to Airlie Beach.
     

 Whitsunday Magic Island Cruise - Departs Airlie Beach 4:00pm Monday's 

Monday - 4:00pm depart from Abel Point Marina and sail to Hook Island for overnight stop.

Tuesday - Early morning walk to look out at Nara Inlet.  Mid morning Sail around to Whitehaven Beach.  Afternoon at beach before sailing north to Border Island or the Northern end of Hook Island for overnight stop. 

Wednesday - Spend today snorkelling or diving on the Fringing Coral Reefs which extend right from the edge of the islands.  This afternoon sail around to the western of Hook Island.  Overnight at Blue Pearl Bay, Langford Reef or Caves Cove.

Thursday - Early morning swim or Snorkel, before setting sail for Airlie Beach.  Return to Abel Point Marina at Airlie Beach at 1:00pm.  Courtesy transfer to Airlie Beach.
 

Whitsunday Magic Reef & Island Cruise - Departs Airlie Beach 4:00pm Friday's 

This cruise is 6 nights.  It is important to note that half way through the cruise Whitsunday Magic returns to Airlie Beach to reprovision.  Guests who are travelling on the 6 day cruise will be transferred to a local restaurant where a lunch will be provided. (guests are provided with a voucher to pay for the lunch).

The 6 night itinerary, combines both the 3 night Reef Cruise and the 3 night Island Cruise.

The cruise departs 4:00pm Friday.  Returns to Airlie Beach at 1:00pm Monday to reprovision.  Departs 4:00pm Monday and returns to Airlie Beach at 1:00pm Thursday.   

Please note on Reef Cruise, where winds are blowing in excess of 15 to 20 knots (27 to 36 km's) we will not go to the Outer Barrier Reef because the sea conditions become uncomfortable and we need to consider the comfort and safety of our guests and crew.
